IWOV Registry connection Failed

Hi All,

I am into a situation based as per scenario below:

We are trying to install TeamSite 7.2 as a fresh installation on Windows 2003 Server with OD6.2.1. To mention here we have separate server for database (MSSQL 2005) within infrastructure and is up and running.

With having almost everything in place I am running into a situation where on initiating installation, at "Add or Locate Common Services" dialog box, with an option "Use Common Services on another computer" selected, we have entered "localhost" (as host name) and "8080" (default port number) on clicking Next, it gives an error message:

"IWOV Registry connection failed: Please modify the data you just entered"

Where as on selecting other two options such as "Install Common Services on this computer" or "Skip, only runtime application will be installed, upgraded / reinstalled, or uninstalled", prompt "p must be a file" error message.

It would be great if you may kindly provide certain pointer in order to resolve this issue.

We are also facing the same issue with both 7.2.0 and 7.2.1. Were you able to find any resolution for this?
