OpenDeploy Error

Sarang

Hi,

I am facing a weired issue with OD. We are on TS 6.7.2 Windows / OD 6.2.1 (sender)/ OD 6.1.1 (Receiver).
OD keeps failing with the error message as below:
LIB: 2010-04-06 06:34:15 Sending [.\X\Y\RipleyTN21310.pdf] [reason src-is-older] -- FAILED
To avoid this error, I have updated the file time stamp on TeamSite but it seems OD doesn't recognize the updated file. It keeps on failing with the same error message.

Can anyone point out if I am missing anything here?

If the file exists at the destination then try manually deleting it there and then re-deploying it.

Right. But what could be the issue?

Right. But what could be the issue?

Have you looked at the receiver-side logs?
Also - you should probably look into upgrading your receivers to the same version as the base server.

Right. But what could be the issue?

Have you tried my suggestion of deleting and redeploying?

Also, what's the time stamp on the destination? Is it indeed older than the source? If so, then perhaps it could be a virus checker or backup software changing the file date. Not likely as those apps shouldn't do anything to the files. But always possible.

I also second Ghoti's suggestion on making sure both versions of OpenDeploy match.

What could be wrong ? A lot of things. Check the receiver logs. What is the receiver running as ? Is this a local disk or a remote disk ? Admin on C:\blah can do more than admin accessing \\otherserver\c$\blah

Did anyone revert back to the previous (old) version of the file while the deployment is being running?
