PLC workflow error after upgrade to TS/OD 7.2

I'm having some problem using the OOTB PLC workflow after upgrading TS/OD from 7.1 to 7.2.

When the deployment task is executed i get the following error:

The customer-teamsite-resource-config.xml I'm using is attached

Also, in the other post, it mentions the java code, but where do I find the actual code to review?

Check the default.site of the site that you are deploying, and look at this setting:

Deployment Runtime Location/configuration

It should be something like LiveSiteRuntime

Actually that is in deployment.properties I think.

It should also match odbase.xml

Your value *may* be 11111 however make certain they are the same.

Was that parameter set at all before ?

Probably need to talk to support. Dusty, who helped me on the other thread is no longer on the boards.

One thing you *might* try is to submit the default.site (maybe even submit direct), just in case the WF reads that from the Staging area.

Have you checked Deployment Descriptor file used for PLC Workflow?

If not then check "OpenDeployWebRoot.xml" file at OD-HOME/conf/LiveSite. Here verify host entry whether it is correct or not?

You are correct Carl.
All the deployment has been performed using OpenDeployWebRoot.xml deployment descriptor for PLC workflow.
One thing you can match whether host name given in OpenDeployWebRoot.xml file is same as given opendeploy.webServiceHost value in livesite_customer_src/etc/conf/livesite_customer/opendeploy.properties file.
It's value in your attached file is localhost. Sometimes localhost doesn't work.

I updated OpenDeployWebRoot.xml to point localNode host to the servername and servername.internal.local
Also changing the opendeploy.properties file opendeploy.webServiceHost value each time.
After each change I recycled OD and performed a build, unfortunately I still receive the same result of the null pointer exception

Try this

) Edit /local/config/lib/content_center/livesite_customer_src/etc/conf/livesite_customer/resources/customer-teamsite-resource-config.xml

2) Go to the bean [html] [/html]

3) Check if a property [html][/html] is defined?
If not, Add [html] [/html] after [html] [/html]

4) Run build.bat from /local/config/lib/content_center/livesite_customer_src directory.

Make sure to take necessary backup's before trying this.

I had this problem and got it resolved using the following thread (not 100% sure it was this thread, but a quick glance seems to be it): http://devnet.interwoven.com/forums_vb/showthread.php?t=24768&forumid=12

Essentially, the passphrase file needs to be the same in the 3 locations: TeamSite, CSF and Opendeploy. Generate a new one if needed.

For your reference, the following logs helped me:

[iwhome]\OpenDeployNG\log\[servername]_odbase.log

Configuration:

[iwhome]\LiveSiteCSAuth\authoring\private\etc\deployment\config\deployment-source-context.xml (defines the beans that hold the deployment info)

Thanks to all with your assistance with this.

We found out it was an issue with the install.
This was an existing store being used from 7.1 so was in place when 7.3.1 was installed.

The install added new ipm and json files to /iwadmin/main/workflowModels/WORKAREA/iw-wa but did not update existing files, so we were executing the old PLC from version 7.1.
