Might be in the wrong forum..

On a newly installed PC I get an error executing command:
com.interwoven.ui.teamsite.ccstd.filesys.BrowseDirectoryCommand

when trying to go into the workarea.

So, something local. Tested different java versions but no dice. On a few laptops it works, on some it doesn't.

Where do i begin to search for the fault? Have tried to google it and no results what so ever.

Interwoven TeamSite 6.5.0 Service Pack 3
Client: Win XP SP3

at first, there was a version J2RE 1.5.0_06 installed
uninstalled it and installed J2RE 1.4.2
this did not help, so now there is Java 6.0.180

Login in to standard content center and clicking on the workarea under "my workareas". Instead of seeing the normal folder/file structure, an error alert pops up displaying: "error executing command...com.interwoven.ui.teamsite.ccstd.filesys.BrowseDirectoryCommand"

Take a look at this KB Article: Java Exception While Accessing a Workarea in TeamSite

The gist of it:
...This behavior occurs to a specific user.
...The error [...] usually appears if the client browser Language Settings are not set up properly
...To resolve this error, change the Language settings by selecting
Tools->Internet Options->Languages->Add->English (United States) in the client browser.

To add my own comment to the Article - make sure that English is the first Langauage in the Browser's List.
You can do that by removing and re-adding reqired languages, etc
