Hi,There is an urgent requirement to install Teamsite 6.7.2 on WINDOWS Server. But we do not have "Administrator" user in OS group. We are trying to install Teamsite 6.7.2 with non-OS user but it was not success because non-os user cannot access File system. So do we require "Administrator" user only to install/upgrade Teamsite on Windows? OR Shall we use any other OS user (other than 'Adminstrator') with fully Admin privileges for installation? Please Suggest. Thanks & Regards,Prasad.
Thanks for the information. But are you able to run all TS CLTs (like iwmigrate, iwreset etc) with your account and all TS services and server (stop & start)?or do we require "Administrator" account only to run perticular CLTs or services or restarting the server etc? What will happen if your account has been removed? Please suggest.
Hi,If we install TS with any other OS user with full Administrative rights then all the functions/services of TS will work properly? Shall we run all TS CLTs and all TS services with this OS user?
Services will be registered to run as the local SYSTEM account. You will need the account who installed TeamSite, to log on and make some other (master) teamsite users. But as soon as you've made another TS master user, you could safely delete the original account used for installation, AFAIK.
