Web CMS (TeamSite)
Web Preview Group Missing
Johnny
Hi Guys,
Im not sure if this is going to be a silly question, im fairly new to windows.
We have TS 5.5.2 SP2b w2k running.
TeamSite is running fine.
I recently tried to install TeamTurbo and an instruction was to add
a certain user to the TeamSite WebPreview Group.
Problem is that I cant find it in the local groups.
On that note, I cant see the Impersonator user either.
Am I seeing something wrong.
I have logged in as Administrator when doing this.
TeamSite has been running fine for all users.
However I have a problem with TeamTurbo (I have put this post in Integrations for that one), and I cant be sure if this has something to do with it, as I wasnt able to complete that task.
I am unable to create either kind of sandbox as it keeps telling me the TeamSite mount is invalid. I have tried mounting as \\ts_server\IWServer and \\ts_server\default and neither works.
I am able to create files into a workarea from the turbo machine using the account WAS is running as.
I have seen posts about this issue, but i still cant resolve this.
Your help will be appreciated
Cheers

In the iw.cfg is there a setting for webserver_group? If so - that would be the group that is generaly referred to "Web Preview Group" in the manuals. If there is no such setting then "Everyone" has full access throughout the TeamSite server (not sure what you enter for TeamTurbo though - "Everyone"?)
The impersonator should be named TSIMP_hostname (where hostname is the name of the TeamSite server host - naturally) I'm not sure how TeamSite would work without this being in existance (never tried).

Its very strange
the entry we have is
webserver_group=TeamSite Web Preview
But the local group doesnt exist.
So all files have Everyone full access stamped on it.
which i guess why it still works.
The install was stock standard.
I heard the Web Preview group is only created if you are using IIS.
We are using IBM HTTPD. I have no idea how valid that statement is though.
The TSIMP user is missing... well i cant see it anyway...
but it all works... so i dont know whats going on.
Im running round in circles here!
I doubt they causing the issue with TeamTurbo, but they surfaced while looking for answers.
