This code is taken from a workflow.In this code, whats iw_file ? Is it an environment variable defined by TeamSite ? Is it an array variable ? I looked for this variable iw_file in PDF but did not find any detail about it. I also looked at the variables being passed by TeamSite to the workflow when a workflow is instantiated. They are mainly iw_owner, iw_workarea, iw_home, iw_branch, iw_session, iw_user, iw_role and few more depending on how a workflow is instantiated.
But I did not see iw_file in this list. Is that an array variable provided by TeamSite, which stores list of selected files ?

Yes, it is not something that a developer at your company created. If that is what you are asking.

If you search the TeamSite Workflow Developer’s Guide TS version 6.7.1 and older you will find examples containing iw_file.

Information regarding attached Files is provided by the TS WF Engine.

Just to explain syntax a little... 'iw_file' is actually a Hash key to access current WFT Object (of TeamSite::WFtemplate type).
__ELEM__('iw_file') function returns a number of attached files from Object's "cgi_elem" Hash.
__VALUE__('iw_file') function returns a reference to the list of attached files from the "tag" Hash.

I checked output of TeamSite::IWtemplate module, but I did not find any mention of iw_file in there.

Is there any other doc, where this is explained properly ?
