unnecessary <p> para tag in the VFE.

I was facing an issue with VFE in TS 6.5. An unnecessary

para tag was getting added to teh content in the editor. Its causing an issue from the user that the page is not looking fine.
can i know how to remove the unnecessary para tags in editor?
