Index files deleted from webserver

Hi Guys,

Submitted/regenerated index files in Teamsite are deleted from portal via OD. I believe my OD config file is correct or may be not. Why is this happening? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Nipper I forgot to check receiver log. From rcvr log below it says it does not exist in source but files currently exist on Teamsite, all submitted via WF.

Are those files in the filelist ?

Check the variables you are passing (area) to OpenDeploy

Nipper file list got created with all 5 files.

From log besides index files 1 file got deleted from portal so path is correct and further details from my work flow shown below log from logging I set up in external task file.

The receiver log indicates that the files do not exist on source or target (absence on source generated delete directive, absence on target obviates the need for the deletion to occur)

You say the files are in TS - but perhaps the file list entry for them is not 100% accurate in some way, such that the path provided in the filelist matches the path on the target system but not within TeamSite - so the first time it was run, the files didn't appear to be in TeamSite and the deletion on the target side occurred?

If you look at the sender-side logs do you see entries for the files that are generating deletion requests? Have you verified that the file paths there actually exist as written?

I am willing to bet this file does not exist.

Looking at the sender log I see the source area specified as:

And target area is:

remote_directory=/app1/html

I also see entries such as:

This means that the deployment did not see files like:

/iwmnt/default/main/internet/WORKAREA/home/committees/comm_wkgrps/inactive/cold_snap_tf/committees/comm_wkgrps/inactive/cold_snap_tf/index-p1.html

Look carefully at the above path - are you sure that path exists on TeamSite - I don't think so.

I think you need to either:

the source and target areas for those files.

Thanks nipper/ghoti you guys were both right. I have set workarea in invoke script to be /iwmnt/default/main/internet/WORKAREA/home/committees/comm_wkgrps/inactive/cold_snap_tf just to update files within folder only. Consequently path got messed up for OD. I have put it back to /default/main/internet/WORKAREA/home.
