File not modified even after success deployment

Hi ,
This is quite a wiered issue , but no clue how is it happening. This issue is sporadic, does not happen all the time.We have a deploy task in our workflow, which deploys the files to a file system. The deployment happens well . Even the logs in reciever shows the file status as deployed. but the file in the reciever is not getting modified.I have attached the deployment scripts used for deployment

Sounds like OD does not have permissions to change the file on the receiver. Though I woul dhave expected an error.

If this was a problem with the permission. then no file should have been modified using deployment . but we are facing the issue intermittently.

This is a transactional deployment - you seem to be missing the final piece of renaming the

.../Installment_Load_Maintenance.xml.iwnew

.../Installment_Load_Maintenance.xml

- which would only happen after all files within the deployment were successfully transferred.

Also - if you have multiple such transactional deployments occurring at the same time, you are likely to run into non-determinant results unless you enable receiver-side-queuing (search the forums and read the manuals for more details) as not only do the files go through the .iwtmp, .iwold, .iwnew renaming process, the directories also do - and thus one transactional deployment could end up overwriting another transactional deployment's pending changes by replacing the directories into which the subsequent deployment is writing.

Thanks ghoti . Now i got it. This would have happened when one or more users using the workflow would have invoked the deploy task at the same time. But i had enabled the queuing mechanism in both base and recieving server by adding 'pendsession' attribute in listener properties. Is this configuration enough for enabling queuing?
