A dnr deployment similar to the one below doesn't return an error if my niftyprogram returns an error message or if it simply isn't found.
<deployNRun >
<dnrDeployment location="target" when="after" triggerPoint="transfer">
<script cmd="/path/to/jre/bin/java -jar niftyprogram.jar option1 option2" where="/data/OpenDeploy" as="root" async="no"/>
<dnrDeployment />
<deployNRun />
Am I correct to say that OpenDeploy only checks if it can find (and execute) the java binary, but it ignores any output? Even when async="no"?
Or is there a way to actually capture the output/error value?
In the OpenDeploy reference, 6.2 on pages 158-159 there is nothing that indicates how OpenDeploy behaves if your script fails, or am I wrong?
