Unassigned Group Tasks missing

We had to bounce TeamSite the other day and found that when it came back up the tasks that used to show up under the "Unassigned Group Tasks" were no longer there. They did show up under "All Tasks" so they were not gone completely.

I searched the support site and on devnet and didn't see any comments about this. Has anyone seen this before? Is there any way to get the tasks back under the "Unassigned Group Tasks" list?

We're running TS 6.7.2 SP2 on Solaris.

If you pick a task, are they assigned to a person ? TS *used* to (and I think still) have the ability to unassign a task (return it to the list). Can you try that ?

I assume a new task show up in unassigned ?

Andy, new tasks are showing up in unassigned, you can take a task and it is assigned to someone, you can also do a "return group task" and it adds it back to unassigned.

So I would assume that I just need to make use of iwtaketask and iwuntaketask and I should be good.

Yea and you may be able to script that. What user is assigned to the tasks ?

No user is assigned to the tasks which is why they should be in unassigned, right?

I was hoping that I could use iwquerytasks with a type of grouptask and an ownedby of "" or "" or something and spin through the results doing a take and untake.

I do like Perl (I wouldn't say love) it is certainly great for this type of stuff. My only problem is that we have scripts to obfuscate our JavaScript code whereas some peoples Perl code (not yours) seem to do just fine on its own!
