using perldoc with TeamSIte Perl modules

I want to check functions available in TeamSIte::Config and other TeamSite perl modules. I tried executing perl doc as follows

"C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator>perldoc TeamSite::Config"

I am getting message "'perldoc' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file."

How can I check contents of a TeamSite Perl module ?

You would have to use perldoc under iw-perl directory. The path should be $iwhome/iw-perl/bin/perldoc

Given the error message reported - herald10's response is a bit more accurate with regard to your first sentence. The second sentence about fixing the path is reasonable - but given the initial post, the fix would be within the My Computer > Properties > Advanced (if I recall correctly) > Environment settings.

You want to make sure you have IWHOME/bin, IWHOME/iw-perl/bin, and ODHOME/bin in your PATH environment - possibly also IWHOME/private/bin.

Fix that up, click OK on the various dialogs, and then bring up a new command prompt window and you should be good to go.

I can get the content of a module, if I know its complete name.

How can I get a list of modules available in system ? and how can I get a list of modules starting with TeamSite, I mean TeamSite::CGI_lite etc ?

If I only know partial name of the module, is there a way I can find out the list of all modules containing that phrase in the module names ?

If I want to findout all the modules starting with TeamSite, how can I find it out ?

How can I get a list of modules available in system ?

Special Perl variable @INC contains a list of directories of Perl modules to load.
Execute the following command from the command line prompt
<iwhome>\iw-perl\bin\perl -e "print qq($_\n) foreach(@INC)"

Look at the directories structure from the returned root locations.
*.pm" Files there are your Modules. Most of the TeamSite-provided pm modules
are in "<iwhome>/iw-perl/vendor/lib/TeamSite" Directory.

From there you can search for modules that do what you're looking for (non-TS specific) and then you can verify if you already have that module available for use with iwperl (doing a perldoc module::name is usually sufficient - if it returns information, you have the module) otherwise you can download the module, either via the cpan utility that comes with iwperl (tends to work on Unix systems but not too well on Windows) or from the CPAN archives (via the above URL).
