does a preview request for a jsp page go through iwproxy ? If yes, then does it go through IIS or not ?
If this request does not go through an application server then how is the code in a jsp page being processed ?
So requests for what kind of content go through IIS web server(content web server) and requests for what kind of content bypass the content web server and directly access the TS server ?
if the transformed URL refers to a resource in iwmount, it's sent to :81; otherwise iwwebd attempts to resolve the transformed URL *as a static file* unless otherwise configured, e.g. to proxy the request to another servlet container
By transformed URL, you mean a URL request on which iwproxy_preconnect_remap rule is applied ?
All files (that I know) are in iw-mount view, so proxy server should send all the requests for a file in TeamSite to the port 81 on IIS server. But still in the picture in manual, requests are sent to TeamSite server, bypassing the content web server. So for what kind of files, does proxy server send requests direcctly to the TS server and bypass IIS server ?
Requests for JSp files lying in iw-mount are sent to content web server which is configured to display JSP files or is the request directly redirected to servlet engine by the proxy server ?By that I mean to ask is, proxy server sends requests either to content nweb server or to TS server. Does it send request to anywhere else apart from these two servers ?
These URLs aren't going to IIS, for example:/iw-cc/command/iw.ui/iw/help/tst/pt//iw-bin/show_env.cgi
So for what kind of files would a proxy server bypass the IIS server and send requests directly to TeamSite server except the requests which are remapped to a different location.
