com.interwoven.modeler.common.exceptions.ModelerEx ception
sanhitaroyc
Hi,
Has anyone come across this kind of exception -
com.interwoven.modeler.common.exceptions.ModelerException
I changed a wf (changed the order of flow of the wf) and published it ..it starting throwing this error. Solution i cud find was re-creating the same wf from scratch.
Does anybody know why this error appears?
Thanks,
Sanhitaa

That's a fairly generic exception. You'll have to provide the error message and full stack trace if you want some help diagnosing it.

So it's failing while trying to convert the model into a jobspec? Did running the workflow in debug mode help? Did you make sure to validate the model in the WFM tool before publishing it?
sanhitaroyc
I validated the wfm and then published it successfully. (The only changed i made in ipm was changed the order of components )
How can I run the wf in debug mode?

How can I run the wf in debug mode?
Hi,
Go to Manage Workflows under Administration tab of CC professional.
There you will see the debug="false" for your workflow.
Make it true.
HTH.

The attribute may not be there at all. If it isn't, add debug="true" on the <model> tag. The second piece is when you get to your instantiation screen, you'll see an additional parameter called "Debug Mode". When you set that to true, you'll get diagnostics instead of initiating a new job instance.
