Reading value of DCR field into Content XML

Hi,

We can use the value of a DCR in 'Appearance XSL' column by using XSLT in a component. But can we access/use the value of a DCR in the Content XML itself?

What exactly are you trying to do? If you are using a DCR Datum, the selected DCR's XML is already available to you in the Content XML....If that is not what you want then explain what is that you are after.
