Read XML from Javascript

My Component returns XML.

I want to access and alert the complete XML by Javascript.

Kindly provide some suggestions.

Have you tried anything yet? Look into the <xsl:copy-of > tag.

What are you hoping to achieve? If you want to inspect it for debug purposes, you can make it easier on yourself and use the component preview functionality, or just print out the XML as HTML.
