Preview of html and pdf files

Os- Linux

We have html and pdf files that will be managed though teamsite. Does anyone know how to use the preview functionality as it is not working for me.

Error -
HTTP 404 - File not found
Internet Explorer

URL of the new window that pops-up is -
http://servername/iw-cc/command/iw.group.preview_file

In /apps/ts/Interwoven/TeamSite/etc/iw.cfg file, I could find this -

[iwproxy_remap]
global_default_map=/

[global_default_map]

Do I need to change anything here in iw.cfg?

The html files is located at -

//servername/default/main/mutualfunds/WORKAREA/mutualfunds/common/docs/pdf/factsheets

Any help would be appreciated.

Hmm - do you have something listening on port 81 to which iwproxy can connect?

How to check in linux OS whether anything is running on that port.

In iw.cfg, these are the settings -

[iwproxy]
iwproxy_port=1080
customer_webserver_port=81

Those settings tell TeamSite that something should be running on that port.

The problem is nothing is running on that port.

Try checking httpd.conf that Apache should be on port 81 and then starting it.

Try: netstat -na | grep ":81"

You can also try running iwproxy in debug mode.

iwproxy -d > /tmp/iwproxy.log

And tail that log to see what is happening, why it is not connecting.

I think it would be a dot instead of colon.

netstat -na | grep "\.81"

You can also try:

/usr/local/bin/lsof -i:81

You may be right - I was looking at a Windows machine when I responded and forgot that Unix might be different.
