Group Task Popup Window

Environment: TS 6.5 Windows 2003 enterprise

In our workflow, there is a Group Task which performs "Document Review". The Document Review is an external CGI that get triggered after "Take" and "Done".

After "Take" and "Done" the external Task opens up as a Popup Window.

Our issue is popups get blocked in browsers. Can we change this to a new Window rather than Popup.

We have tried to have custom Take and Done action CGI task which simulates the group task feature, but this requires active user session. Same users should be able to access the group task from emails notifications too. In email scenario we have to take them directly to Teamsite Group task window(as it internally validates user session).

Users are not happy with Popup blocker blocking the windows. Is there any way to make this to regular new window?
