I am facing some issue with double quotes during the preview of the page.
We are trying to add the given line in the component:
< param name="abc" value="name="+encodeFunction(document.referrer)+"" />
So that we can see the same line of code in the page using that component.
Directly adding this line in component throws error while saving the component. So given below are the approach i have tried:
Approach 1:
Added given line in the component:
< param name="abc" value="name="+encodeFunction(document.referrer)+"" />
This gets added successfully, but in the source page of the preview file, the " is not getting resolved, instead of showing as double quote it remains as "
Approach 2:
Created a variable :
referrer="+encodeFunction(document.referrer)+"
and reading that variable to create the value of the param:
or
But in the source of the preview file is having the given value for the param :
< param name="abc" value="name="+encodeFunction(document.referrer)+"" />
the double quote is getting converted into the $quot; in the source page.
Approach 3:
Used the HTML number for the double quote (i.e. - "
.
But source of the preview file is having the given value for the param :
< param name="abc" value="name="+encodeFunction(document.referrer)+"" />
" ; is getting converted to " ;
My requirement is to get double quote in the preview source page.
Please suggest or give any pointer to resolve this issue.
