Hi, if I understand you correctly, you want to try something like this:

where fieldname would be Title,
or AreaRelativePath,
or whatever you need.

I am facing the same issue, is it possible for you to provide the DCT and code for setting Extended attribute on DCR and Component file to that I can match the replicate the same in order to validate the issue

You can use the below approach

1.Create java method to reterive the extented attributes call CLT in that method and include this java class xalan extension in xslt and reterive the value.

Does work for me, and is a **** of a lot simpler than the approach suggested by nancool. Try making sure that
'TeamSite/Metadata/Fieldname' matches the EA name you can see in CCPro.
It's easy to make mistakes with this, as not all EAs are 'TeamSite/Metadata/Fieldname'

Hello,

I tried using that same syntax, and was unfortunately not able to pull up the metadata and present it in my generated output. This is the code which I used to try to read the metadata.

The "offeringList/title" worked properly, however the metadata field was not picked up.

I don't actually know how exactly it would get picked up, as the xml content of the DCR does not actually have the metadata node within it. Could you please explain how/where it may be picking this up for you?

Did you ever get this resolved? We have the same need to pull metadata in through the XSLT. Did the XPath ever work or did you have to use the extension?

Hi Satish and labbrown. nancool is correct. You need to create a class or two to exploit the CSSDK. To get started, find the cssdk/samples folder on your TeamSite installation. In there you'll find *.java files where you'll learn how to create a Factory and capture your client.

Finally, you need to find this path on your server and bookmark it. It's the documentation for the CSSDK.

I suggest returning your EA's as a NodeSet to the XSLT.
