Create a sample DCR using the specific DCT.
You could then save the spreadsheet as a text file and write a simple PERL script that will read each line, parse the fields and fill in the data values in the sample DCR you create.
Once you have the DCRs, you can upload them into TeamSite and then you need to set Extended attributes on them for TS to recognize them as DCRs. Thats a bit tricky, but I've done that b4 and can give you some pointers on how to do it
quickly and efficiently.

Hi Pradeep,
I converted a tab-limited-file into a DCR by writing some perl code. But IW is not ready to recognize that as a DCR. If u could help with the steps, we would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks,

execute the 'iwextattr' command on the DCR

Just to make sure. Did you add Extended Attributes to the file so that Templating can recognize it?

For TeamSite to recognize the file you created as a DCR
you need to set the value of the extended attribute named
"TeamSite/Templating/DCR/Type ".
The value is essentially of the format - "<name of template category>/<name of template type>" - which is basically the 2-level folder path inside the 'templatedata" folder that the DCR resides under.
You need to write a script that looks at every file inside "templatedata/<template category>/<template type>/data" and then sets the value of the above mentioned extended attribute(using iwextattr CLT) to "<template category>/<template type>".
hope that helps
