Critcal Modified By Problem

Hi Everyone,
I am executing a callserver to an ipl file to create the output file using xalanTransform.exe. The problem is when the perl file creates this file its "modified by" attribute is set as SYSTEM. is there any way i can make it the user who is executing this callserver. Please Help me out!

Does it have to do something with the way i have executed this callserver or is it the default feature that everytime a callserver does something with the help of perl, the teamsite would make last modified by as SYSTEM?

Hey.. Thanks a lot Anjani.. Actually i tried the path http://nca6pdev11/iw-bin/iw_cgi_wrapper.cgi/test/p.ipl but it was giving me an error shown in screen shot.. so i placed the ipl file directly under iw-bin in the following location http://nca6pdev11/iw-bin/iw_cgi_wrapper.cgi/p.ipl And It worked. u have saved me from a great deal of trouble.. iw_cgi_wrapper.cgi requires that the script it is wrapping lives directly within the IWHOME/httpd/iw-bin/ directory and not in some sub-directory therein -- as you've already discovered.

I had the similar requirement and i tried using
IWDatacapture.callServer(/iw-bin/iw_cgi_wrapper/test.ipl,params,true) and still it shows Modified by as SYSTEM and not the user who modified it....

Hi guys,

Environment:
Windows 2003 sp1
Teamsite 6.7.1 sp1

I am also running into similar issue, I have file menu item where is user is generating files .xml and after the generation process the Perl module is setting external attributes to the dcr (dcr was already created)

after the external attributes are set the modify by attribute get changed to SYSTEM rather then the user that ran the command.

All of the users are local account but they don't have logon locally right, we don't want to give logon locally to every business user to the server, is there a way around this problem.

IPL is called by the following way
http://servername/iw-cc/iw-bin/iw_cgi_wrapper.cgi/test.ipl

impersonate_without_password= true in iw.cfg

If anyone have come across this issue and been able to fix it please let me know
