LiveSite Caching issues

Hello All,

We are facing a unique issues and appreciate anybody's help on the same.

Issue
***********
Changes not getting reflected on Livesite. Sender and reciever logs show deployment succesfull.
We checked "cache-resource-config.xml " where cache files are getting created i.e. inside 'sites' folder.

Permission on folder is:
drwxr-xr-x 3 wasadm nobody 1024 Jun 21 07:53 sites

Content of sites folder:

Even though permission looks fine, it seems the cache files are on getting deleted.

Please suggest .

Hi,
Have you tried selecting the pages and then clicking the Invalidate Runtime Cache which is there under Sitepublisher link.

Try this and then let me know if this helps you.

Thanks for the reply.

It has been done.We are also checking the logs and there it is showing as 0(zero) files but the files are not getting deleted from the backend which should be done automatically.

Hi Ankur,
you can look at the logs and in the meantime I can add these points.
Have you tried restarting the services in the target server, does it gives you the updated content?
Are you fetching the content from DCR or Database?

Hello,

The services at the target app server have been restarted couple of times. We are fetching the content from DCR.

Let me know if i can try anything else.

Is there a way i can remove caching?

Do you have a ticket open with Autonomy about this? I hope you do.

Component cache is configured at the component level. You need to go back to the component, change cache setting, submit it to staging, update the page, verify the page looks like what you expect it to, then deploy the page. Verify the page is deployed by going to LSDS webroot and check the timestamp on the page. before you reload the page from the browser, Watch livesite runtime.log and catalina log to see if the page context is printed in the log when the page is hit.

If you are stuck then you need to Autonomy tech support on the phone to help you.
