Procedure in data deploy script

I have a dcr. It has 4 fields: Id,Category,Question,Answer. I need to deploy Id,Question and Answer in a table. The Category need not be deployed in the table but it is required in the database for some manipulation purpose,not for storage. So i need to write a procedure which accepts the category as an argument. I dont know how to pass values from dcr as an argument to a procedure. Can someone guide me on the syntax for the same?
