TeamSite index error

Hi All,

We are facing an issue in TeamSite Indexing. One of the branches in the content store doesn't index at all. When we started with indexing of this branch, it was in "partially indexed" state for many days. Then we had to purge the indexes of this branch and re-add the branch to indexing. In this process, we deleted an edition of the branch as well. As of now the indexer, just refuses to index the branch anymore and branch is in UNINDEXED state for many days.

Error that we get in logs is:

Is it possible that you deleted a user or group that is still in use by the system as the owner of a file/folder/area/branch? That's what the stack trace seems to imply.. You probably have another stack trace around the same timestamp in content_center.log, which might shed light on the issue.

In our TeamSite environment, there are other branches as well that are successfully indexed, but this branch just fails.

Previously, we had this branch in the partially indexed state. Then we deleted a few editions of this branch on Support's suggestion, but it did not help and now the branch is in un-indexed state.

If we need to find out, the files / folders / WAs whose owners are removed the system, I believe iwidmap is the only command taht can help.

You may want to try a find on the workarea to list the owner and group of all files and folders, then inspect (grep with a regex) for numerical owners rather than named ones.

I am getting the same problem , my one branch is showing "12-Partially Indexed" while other branches are properly indexed.

In servletd_out.log I am getting below errors:

This error usually appears when one of the users in your system has a corrupted entry in the EDB (entity database)

You can verify if the user entry is correct by using the command :
iwuser -q "domain\username"

if the above command returns ERROR - xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, the EDB for the particular user is corrected.

The simplest thing you can do to correct the entry is to create the user again :
iwuser -c "domain\username"

Recreating the user wont affect the user's access/roles entries.
