It seems the PDFs are locked and Adobe Reader will not let you copy it. What good it is to include code samples in a manual when you do not allow anyone to cut & paste it ? :mad:

I'll take a recommendation of one if you have used one, I will also check download.com, they are pretty good about monitoring files for spyware.

Yep. & Edit -> Copy to clipboard does not work.

Well, that's not very nice. Someone was sleeping at the wheel when they made that file.

For what it's worth, the version 7.1 pdf allows copying.

That is strange I just looked at the 7.1 SP Users guide (Revision 1 Dec 09) and it still has copy protection enabled. I will download all docs again.

I see the same settings on that file. I cannot copy either. So it's not on your end.

Looks like they copy protected some of them and not others. Whoever created the docs probably changed it once for something, then forgot to change it back, (we hope). If they begin making all their docs with the copy protection then that would be pretty dumb.

FWIW - if you have a Mac and use Apple's Preview application, you can copy from the 7.0 SP Dev doc (I just tried) - e.g.:[indent][html]Compose Section

Clearly some of the formatting / line-breaks and such get lost in the copy / paste - but it works just fine for me.
