TeamSite® User Interface Customization Guide

pann0204

if you have any UI configuration changes, you need to run make_toolkit.ipl.
It merges customer xmls with the default content center xmls, before running a ‘make’.

make_toolkit gives the interface to push the custom code like java, UI xml into TS. After making the toolkit, these are available in TS and can be used within the TS. For instace, there is a custom java code, and place it in cust_src and make toolkit and this java class is available in TS to use it. so that you dont mess with the TS OOTB classes.

Have you tried reading the manuals?
6.7.2 UICG - "Building the Web Application" starting on page 33.
7.2 UICG - ""How to Make Customizations" starting on page 26.

Thanks everyone for your time and reply.

Actually I don't have these UICG manuals so don't know how to run that make_toolkit.ipl

But i need to run it because i am changing the java file (ReviewerMailNotificationTask) for changing the subject of the emails

After creating the jar its mentioned in the manaual that we need to run make_toolkit.ipl.

Since, its not mentioned how to run it in this manual , I posted the query.

If you are doing development work on TeamSite you should have the manuals.
If you do not, personally, have access to the Support site to get the manuals, there should be someone else at your site who does, and can get them for you.

I suggest you start there, and then once you get the manuals if you still have questions post details about what you've tried and what results (if any) you've gotten.
