base on the LS dev guide,
The SPAR Installer does the following:

Applies extended attributes based on a manifest file within the archive.

but it doesn't mention how to catpure the EAs
does any script automatically to create meta-inf/eamanifest.xml ?
or we have to write a script to do it.

we are trying to move the sites to other server.
it might have hundred .pages per site

I don't think you need to do anything in order to capture "regular" EAs - only if you added your own via tagging. I know i built a spar once (just playing around) without doing anything for this and the pages/components/etc all worked on the target side.

Otherwise, you can use the -x flag of the iwextattr command to generate an xml file **for a single file's EAs** (so, still some scripting required)
