Do you mean the actual filename or the page title name that you set with component properties?

I need the Actual Filename of the page.

I need to insert the canonical tag in header section of the every page for ex; link rel="canonical" href="http://www.abc.com/index.html"> , for which I need the page name to insert the tag .

Have you tried $PAGE_LINK[] which generates a correct URL for the current page or $PAGE_LINK[mypage] for mypage.page, etc.

How to do I know page in default layout xsl and also I need to get page name for all pages .

$PAGE_LINK[] will get resolved by LiveSite to a correct URL pointing to itself (or another page if yo provide a name). The only other way is to look through RequestContext and see if it is available (see DumpContext.component).

I am working in the Livesite 2.2 env , in which their is no livesite.runtime jar , If I uplaod the livesite runtime jar from livesite 3 version , I ma not able to preview the page . How I do I get the context in page layout ,

LiveSite 2.2 ????????????????

That is way too old. Everything is very different. Good luck in trying to get help on that.

Livesite 2.2 may have $PAGE_LINK but it is about 5+ years old and predates me, so I may not be of much help. I do not think there is a way to get the page filename and I can't think of any "legacy" functionality that may work.

Maybe someone else on the forum remembers that version enough.
