How to call calendar.ipl in CGI

Hi All,

We need to customize the instantiation screen, we did it with the help of cgi, it is working great but we have one calendar field, which we need to call from the calendar.ipl same like DCT. We want the same feature like DCT here too but one problem is that we have to declare calendar.ipl in test.cgi(our cgi), I tried with the same as in DCT but it is not working.

Any Suggestions!!!!

What exactly is not working from CGI screen?
Are you able to call the ipl but not set the value in your CGI screen feild?

Check your CGI screen form name and other parameters.
Since Calendar ipl basically has javascript coding, you might want to bit look into that as well how it works and u should be able to figure it out.

I believe your code is wrong - you are passing a parameter to your function, but the function doesn't take a parameter, your function sets a variable, but does nothing with it.

I suggest you google JavaScript calendars and read what comes back - personally, I have had a fair amount of success using something called "jscalendar" which I found that way. It came with a bunch of documentation (in HTML format) that explained how to use it.
