I am trying to publish a file from TS Server to LS Server through a default workflow but it is giving me a passphrase error.
Can anyone say what this error signify?

Hi,
It seems that your passphrase got corrupted.
Try to generate a new passphrase and then try to deploy.

The passphrase is a cryptographic security key that is used for TeamSite's various services to securely talk to each other over SSL or similar. What santosh is suggesting is that this key may have been corrupted, say by copying it from one machine to a completely different one. There are command line utilities you can use to regenerate one appropriate to your instance.

I will try the process mentioned but how can I get the documentation for this passphrase.

I have gone through the Administration pdf but there is nothing much there.

Hi,
If you go to the support site then I hope you will get some threads regarding passphrase generation.
There it has been clearly mentioned about the steps to generate the passphrase(generation CLT,steps to put it in different directories, stop and start the services in some sequence,bla bla bla)
Not very sure but I saw it few years back.
Regarding the pdfs I am not very sure but I hope Rick can throw some light.
