metadata fields, their IDs, and their selectable values

Greetings,

I need to provide someone with a list of all of our available metadata fields, their GUIDs, and the selectable values that they have, if they have any.

Seems like the only way to do this is to export the XML for each metadata field, and piece together the report from the information in there.

If there is a quicker way to achieve this in the database, or otherwise, please let me know.
