Search for filenames

There is a filename field in the search area and if we enter a value – for example “*book*” – then the search results show all files with the terms *book* in the filepath also, not just in the filename.

So we want to configure the Search only for 'Name' and want only Files having "book" in their name to be returned in the Search results.

Has anybody come across this? is it possible to configure?

What is the version of Search and TeamSite?

I tried searching (on Search 2.1.1 and 7.1) for files with *NAME* in Filename field and didn't notice the behavior which you've mentioned.
