Hi All,

We recently installed OD 7.1.0 on Windows 2008 server. When I try access the Admin UI, I get the below error. Can you suggest any pointers please?

http://yourservername:8081/iw/opendeploy/login

You did get a new license file from Autonomy?

Thanks for the replies.

The OD services are running fine.

I tried the above URL with 8080 and it threw an error. If I try the URL with 8081, it shows page cannot be found errror.

We did get the Licenses from Autonomy. No issues related to that.

What happens if you try it directly on the server?

You are trying this against a server that has the admin service (host) installed, and not against a receiver?

Also, check your OpenDeploy logs for any errors.

You will have to know on which port it is running.
Is it the default 8081 or it has been changed during installation?
Try to discuss with the team who did the installation.

Then try to use the http://yourservername:your-port-no/iw/opendeploy/login

Check your iw.cfg file for this to confirm.

Ok, we did not install the admin console. That was the issue.

We are trying to add a user to OD with admin role. How can we achieve this?

iwodauthorize gives you the ability to add user for a particular OD file execution only.

That is incorrect. Use the iwodauthorize command with the -r flag.

/[OD-HOME/bin/iwodauthorize -r add od-admin [username]

inorder to run this CLT you nee to have od-admin role or admin permissions on that servers.
