Perl Version for Teamsite

CVMS

Hi All,

I would like to know which version of Perl, Teamsite 6.7.2 uses.
I want to know the difference between Strawberry and Active Perl and which one is supposed to be used for Teamsite 6.7.2?
I have no idea of Perl till date and learning now.

Thank You.

TS 672 uses perl 5.82 I believe (not looking at a server right now) - it's called iwperl.

That is the perl / version of perl you should use - not Straberry nor ActiveState.

The recommendation from IWOV (and many customers) these days is to use java rather than perl - though even when using java for most customizations there are still places where perl is handy.

nraval

yes it's true

try CLT iwperl -v

This is perl, v5.8.2 built for MSWin32-x86-multi
