Using WFM we have customised the instantiation screen using iwmodeldct to create the
/custom_instantiation.cfg
file. We then modified the custom_instantiation.cfg file and converted the text fields to textareas.
<text required="f" />
was changed to..
<textarea required="t" rows="2" cols="50" wrap="off"/>
The "required", "rows" and "cols" parameters all work fine.
We have also tried
<textarea required="t" rows="2" cols="50" wrap="virtual"/>
and
<textarea required="t" rows="2" cols="50" wrap="physical"/>
However, when multi-line text entries are entered into these textareas the corresponding configurable variable values are truncated at the first carriage return.
eg.
"foo\n
bar\n
ed\n"
becomes
"foo"
Does anyone know if it is possible using WFM to accept text strings with carriage returns from the instantiation screen for use in configurable variables?
We suspect that this may be related to how the default custom_instantiation JavaScript handles these strings.
