How to check where is the log file

During my page generation i am getting bellow error. I can check it through TPL code but i want to know how to check the which log file and where it is located.
"An error occurred during PT compiling. Please see more details in log files."

If you have created custom log file then you should be able to know the file location.
Logs locations in Teamsite is "$IW-Home/teamsite/local/logs".

To find error in PT try compiling the .tpl from command line using iwpt_compiler.ipl and check for the errors in the file.

try with iwtrace,iwutil... log files.

That specific log is (typically) iwutild_cmdout.log

The information there is often of marginal value.

Hi ,

Simple approach to my knowledge is

1) generate ipl from tpl using iwpt_compile.ipl
2) compile ipl with iwperl -w option and rectify all the error/warnings.
