In server in which directory we should be before running any CLT.

for instance "iwmkwa.exe" use for creating workarea

Syntax
>iwmkwa main/branch1 wa1 '' INITIAL chrisc

before executing ">" where is this and is necessary to mention "INITIAL chrisc" means owner name in this.

The ">" is just the prompt. You need to be in your /TeamSite/bin/ directory or have it in your path.

On my installation (Linux), that's /usr/Interwoven/TeamSite/bin/. Not sure about a Windows intallation.

The command and parameters:
iwmkwa [-h|-v] branchvpath waname comment base_ed [ownerid [groupid]]
