Entities DB question in TS 7.1

Hi All,

We have recently upgraded TS from 6.7.2 to Ts 7.1. We did a fresh install. Becuase of this all our business users have lost their favorites. Is there any way to restore entities DB?

I read following statement in one of our upgrade documents (not IW ones, but customized ones):

The only things that cannot be migrated over are the TeamSite user preferences (Favorites) stored in the entity database, as that is formatted differently in the new version.

Is this correct?

Can we get favorites back by just restoring folder /usr1/app/interwoven/TeamSite/local/entities from the back up and resertting the UI.

env: Redhat Linux 5.5

Or did you change hardware and just copy things over ?

I suggest you read this posting and don't hold your breath waiting for someone to provide you a solution they probably figured out about 3 years ago....
