Update component/template issue..

Hi,
Whenever I edit a page, a update pop up appears asking to update/overwrite components/templates. But when I select all the pages under that folder and execute "Get latest component" from the menu, it says : Components are up to date.
This problem does not arise when I create pages for the first time, but when I regenerate the pages it happens.
Is there any flag set whether the components/templates are updated in a particular folder or something like this?
