I had a problem reported to me this morning and quite frankly I can see no reason for the issue. What is happening is that users can create DCRs just fine. They can save them and then they can go back in and edit them. What is NOT working is previewing the files. They click on preview and get back garbage or the browser 404 error. If they generate a page and save it in the proper WORKAREA/directory the file shows up there but clicking on it yields a 404 error with the URL of:
http://sthep36/iw/webdesk/sce?vpath=/default/main/portal/WORKAREA/content/portal/healthchoice/answers/pvlTest.html

the sce? vpath= looks wrong to me

Static pages preview just fine.

This is consistent across the board for files and folders that were working as recently as last week. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated. Rebooting did not clear this up and there are no errors in the event viewers.

From what was posted in #1 either the web server was not running on port 81, or the "customer web server" field was not set in iw.cfg

go to http://YOUR-SERVER:81/iw-mount

and see what happens

I get a listing of default, and iwadmin as I would expect. Looks good from there, services seem to be responding.

iw.cfg looks correct from what I can tell as well.

If I set my browser to use the Teamsite server as a proxy, then I can open content in the content center. I'm sure I'm close to a solution based on this, but my brain just isn't tracking. The error is a 400 Bad Request.

What happens if you click on any generic HTML page from Content Center ?

You should NOT be setting your browser to use the TS proxy. Actually, there is one instance when you can, but I highly doubt you are doing that. Try removing that.

Also, when did the proxy get set on 1081, by default it uses 1080, was that a recent change or done on install ?
