Custom End Job

Hi Guys,

Previous teamsite admin set up a custom end job which is only enabled for users with permission to end workflow jobs. From workflow tab actions menu, jobs pane workflow is disabled appropriately for users without permission.

However, from job details pane custom end job is still enabled. I can't seem to locate the code to correct this defect. From manual it says it should be customer_src_new/etc/conf/customer/custom_userops.xml but I do not find this file at this or any other location on teamsite 7.1 GNU/Linux.

Please advise.

I'm not sure about the customization, but you probably want to be looking in customer_src not customer_src_new

I checked that location too and the only file I found is ui_custom.xml which displays the functionality of the code custom end job but it doesn't show anything regarding enable or disable (check permissions) of custom end code.

In the ui_custom.xml check <iwov-delete> Tags within action-list/menu customization Tags. If customization
you've described was done in a supported manner you might be able to find a deletion of a link with the Id
similar to "iw.ccpro.job_actions_menu.endjob.link" and an insertion of some custom action instead.

If that's the case you'd have to figure out another menu Id (the one within Job Details Frame) and
replicate "delete OTB Link / Insert custom Action Link" in that Menu as well.

Finally, the name "custom_userops.xml" is a documentation bug. File's correct name is "userops_custom.xml".
This File serves to insert "Custom Operations" into Role management GUI, see [post=172015]this[/post] post for some details.
In other words, this is probably not the File you are looking for.
