Is UNIQUEIDENTIFIER datatype supported in data deploy script

I have a column which has UNIQUEIDENTIFIER as the datatype. When I run the script,its completed successfully,but no rows are getting inserted into the table. Am getting the error:

**ERROR**:com.interwoven.dd100.dd.TColumnCfg 103 Unknown SQL data type specified: UNIQUEIDENTIFIER
DBD: ERROR:Invalid column element. name-from-field not allowed.

Can someone guide me on this?
