deploying multiple site on same LSRT

hi,

can any one guide me how to deploy multiple sites on single LSRT.
can we have multiple ROOT folder like web and web1 .... under LSRT-home/runtime.

Your Sites and pages get deployed to the sites directory...

You should be able to deploy > 1 site to the same LSDS...

URL's will be like:

http://server-name:1776/SiteA/start.page

http://server-name:1776/SiteB/start.page

Also if you hit:
http://server-name:1776/ >> you will see the list of sites that have been deployed to LSDS...

Agreed but in this sanario both the site share resources. like .jar and .war etc. this implies that both application or dependent.

there is server.xml file under tomcat/conf folder.
where root folder i.e web defined.
my question can we defined multiple web folder and depending on the request redirected to specific root folder.

Think about it like this: LSDS Runtime is a single app with multiple context roots (one per site). OOTB, they are not multiple apps.

With that said you could setup multiple LSDS instances and have site 1 go to LSDS 1, site 2 go to LSDS 2, etc.
