Help, I am at a loss
wmh
TS 5.5.2
Solaris
As of yesterday all perl scripts called from workflows will not run iwodstart. It just ignores the command according to the log file created by the perl. If the iwodstart command is run with no variables, it runs with the help message. If any variables are added like deployment name, is doesn't run.
If the script is run at a command line it runs OK, including when done by a user other than root.
Any ideas at all?

make you command something like this:
"iwodstart blah blah blah >> /tmp/ouput_$$.txt 2>&1"
then look at /tmp/output_somenumber.txt
post it if you don't see the problem

I also had the shell and user info piped to the capture file.
It's running as the user who intiates the task.
This is probably a JVM problem, but I am not sure how to begin to trouble shoot it.

Hi,
To run in workflows you should actually use the command ODHOME/OpenDeployNG/solutions/perl/iwodstart.ipl
hope this helps

Better yet, upgrade to OD 5.6 SP1 and use the iwodcmd CLT rather than the iwodstart CLT...
