DCRs not showing

Hey,

There is a sub folder under my data folder where there are near to 2000 DCRs. When I view this location from CC PRO, it shows blank. Same are available in iwmnt. I checked the extended attributes, those are okay.

What probably could be the issue here? Is there any limitation on the no files that can be inside a folder?

(In TS67x) if TS fails to get the correct user information it will not show any dcr's

If this is the case, the html source of the content center will be incomplete.

Solution: copy folder or fix users

well the problem is only for one datatype..all other datatypes are working fine.

How many number of files are there in the other datatypes?
But 2000 files under a folder is pretty much normal. Try to set the pagination value to a minimum number of files and try viewing...

which environment you're working ?
Also try to check the permission on the DCRs or the folder containing the DCRs...

No. of files in other datatypes are preety much of the same no. i.e. around 2000.

Can't set the pagination value as that too is not showing.

Permissions are okay.

when did you start to encounter this problem?
whether previously you were able to view the files under this folder ?
Is any special characters are there in the folder name ?

And also try to check for the files from the /.iwmnt folder instead of /iwmnt

Set the pagination on the folder above it. Then it will paginate for your other folders.

Is this happening to all users?
Does it happen in different browsers?
What browser are you using?
Any errors in the log files?
What do you see if you do a "View Source" on the page?

IMO anything more than 500 files within a single folder is cause to re-examine your architecture; anything more than 1000 files within a single folder should be a call to re-design / re-implement your architecture. Just because a lot of places do it - doesn't mean that it's a good design - it's a problem just waiting to cause issues.
