Unlocking files in a workflow

Hello,

We have a long workflow which passes a file between several different users. After each edit task, we have an external task to run unlock.ipl. Does anyone know if there's an easier or shorter way to do this? Some tasks have a lock attribute, but I haven't seen an unlock attribute, (other than for submit). I'm trying to shorten our workflow - half of the tasks are unlock tasks. Thanks!

You're doing it the right way.

Currently the only task that supports an unlock attribute is the submittask.

You might want to contact Interwoven Support and ask them to open up a Feature Request for this though.
