I've created an xml component to submit as a google sitemap. However, it seems that LS is adding as the parent node which google rejects.

Anyone know how to remove this?

Can you post more details? Specifically what is the tag? (Surround it in "code" tags (I hit the php button) and can you also post the component's xsl?

The problem with my code is that Google doesn't access the outputted sitemap because of the root node.

I need to remove this node.

Hi rschmitt81,

Follow the steps mentioned below:

1. Navigate to SiteMap tab in TeamSite
2. Browse to Site Name that you modified by adding Google node
3. Delete the specific node

Submit default.sitemap residing under sites folder under Content tab in TeamSite.

I think you misunderstood what "node" he was talking about.

rschmitt, as far as I'm aware, the only way you'd be able to alter that node is by modifying the page layout XSL, which is located somewhere under livesite_customer_src/src/com/interwoven/livesite/xsl or somesuch (don't have a reference available in front of me). Note that this will likely break any other pages using XML as the output type.
