PLC Workflow , what gets deployed to prod

Hello

While using the PLC Workflow and selecting the "Production" options can any one tell me what files get deployed to production , assuming i am deploying a single .page file , that has a template and 3 components, one of which is External (uses some .class file to get some contents )?

does the .template,.component files and .class file too get deployed ?

The only files that get deployed are those in the workarea. The template and component instances become part of the .page itself, XSL and Datums and all. Other LS customizations such as the externals must be copied over manually, since it's more of a code build than a content push.
